Our gratitude to those who served — the program will always run
In Memoriam · Billy Rae Parnell
Humbled. Always.
We at Legends Ranch are humbled by the countless men and women who have unselfishly sacrificed their lives for the freedoms our nation enjoys.
In 2003, Legends Ranch started the first Purple Heart Hunt to honor these many brave men and women. From many applications, nine Purple Heart recipients are chosen to experience a hunt at Legends Ranch each year. This is our special way of honoring those who served in our Armed Forces.
The hunt is fully sponsored. The program is named for Billy Rae Parnell. The seats around the dinner table are full of stories — and we are grateful to be the ones who get to listen.

Support the Program
The Purple Heart Hunt is fully sponsored every year by the Legends family, returning hunters, and corporate partners. Every dollar goes to making the week extraordinary for the recipients and their guests.
